saw her dance for the first time tonight.

i've never seen her have that much passion for anything aside from us. the way she moves — it's not just technical, it's like watching someone fully inhabit themselves. delicate but powerful. spectacular in a way that doesn't need an audience.

she dances like a god. complete command. complete grace.

watching someone you love do the thing they were made to do hits different. you see them in full. not the version they are with you. the version they are when they're completely present in their own body, their own art.
