what if an ai just set every baseball player's salary

in the next collective bargaining agreement for baseball, it'd be interesting if all players are paid a base equally based on their tenure in the league but an ai would determine how much money they make on top based purely on stats (e.g. war, bwar, etc).

there would be zero contract negotiations, the salary cap of each team would have a ceiling where the ai would have to adhere too, & the players can go play for any team. the ai could also adjust based on macro league financial performance too.

this way a rookie could be the highest paid player & all players who make it to the majors are guaranteed a minimum base (maybe few mill). would prolly reduce excitement but this would be great for both players & owners.
