glps disrupt evolutionary programming loops

every species runs on programming loops, e.g. a dog wants food, a fawn finds the nipple, & humans chase calories, status, & sex. every behavior set sits on these loops built by nature.
it seems like today's glp's seem to disrupt these loops almost at a macro level. if you can turn off any of these loops, which loops do we keep, which do we mute, & do we leave it up to the individual to decide? or does the govt decide or whatever since it has societal impact.
kinda interesting to think about.
