this device would collapse the ipad, macbook, workstation, travel machine, & casual media device into a single daily driver.

ideal setup:

• loaded macbook ultra
• iphone 18 pro
• studio display xdr

at that point you basically don't need any other hardware. apple's main problem is that the ipad is already the shape of this future, but macos is still the place where a ton of real work lives.
